Drive toward the southeast corner of the great province of Saskatchewan, and about 25 km north of the southeast border stands the city of Estevan. Merging the historical histories of the past and the modern advances today, Estevan is a vibrant buzzing delight among the quiet expanses of southern Saskatchewan, and it remains the province’s 8th largest city.
Granted the cable name of the canadian Pacific Railway President George Stephen, “Estevan” was a rail town with the right mix of resources. It’s booming economy, driven by its industries and over 11,000 residents boast some of the province’s lowest residential taxes.
